This Boo Is Made For Walkin'

The big event has arrived ... Madeleine is walking! On September 5th Madeleine took her first unassisted little steps, by the evening of that same day she was already walking from Mom-to-Dad-to-couch-to-ottoman, and over the next few days little Maddie was walking everywhere and all the time.

What's next on Miss Byrd's list of big accomplishments? Congress! "Don't Get Even, Get Madd -- Vote Maddie 2008"

Madeleine Takes A Stand

It has begun. The gradual move from crawling to walking has started. Madeleine officially LOVES to stand. She started by standing up in bed, while leaning up against her parents. Now she's standing all over the house, in the park, she even tries to stand in the bathtub. She's also started walking along the edge of furniture, and has even taken one or two tiny accidental steps on her own.
