One Year, And Counting...

The big "One-Year" barrier has been broken, Madeleine has been on the planet for over 365 days, and shows no signs of slowing down.

Madeleine celebrated her big first birthday the way everyone should, with lots of friends and family. Guests enjoyed a beautifully decorated birthday cake, made entirely from scratch by Maddie's doting Mother. There were balloons, streamers, lots of presents to open, and (most fun of all) there were other little kids for Maddie to chase all over the house.

The little Byrd was a bit startled by a room full of people breaking out into song, and a burning candle being thrust in her face, but she managed an afternoon of smiles nonetheless.
