Sahru Showered With Love, and a Few Gifts
On Saturday July 23rd, in the late afternoon of a beautiful sunny day in San Francisco, friends and family gathered to shower Sahru with love and presents. Hosting the party was Anna & Ruby Wachtel, and Sahru's Mom Tina, who put together a magnificent assortment of tasty things to eat, such as mini chocolate cakes, and delicious stuffed mushroom caps, and fun games to play, like "guess how big the pregnant lady is" and "what's in this baby food jar." Everyone at the party recieved fun favors, like little purses and colorful bracelets, courtesy of Maya Mirsky & Anna.
On hand at the shower were over two dozen guests, including Sahru's Aunt who flew in all the way from Chicago, Joe's Mom, Bert & Danny who came in from Los Angeles, and Maya Mirsky who only recently moved to San Francisco from Budapest, Hungary.
Towards the end of the shower, the soon-to-be Dad arrived and the many, many presents were opened. The almost-parents recieved an assortment of tiny little baby outfits, adorable little hats, the cutest little pairs of socks EVER, recieving blankets, a stroller, play center, toy chest, changing table, 7 weeks of diaper service, lots a great baby toys, a hand and foot plaster casting set, a cosleeper crib, and many, many, many more wonderful things.
